Intra-regional distribution of the digital industry in Germany.
In the latest article done by the Technische Universität Dortmund, Vanessa Hellwig investigates digital firm birth activity in municipalities in the urban hinterland of core cities in Germany. The paper gives invaluable insights regarding the importance of not taking a “one-size-fits-all” approach when it comes to policy interventions in similar municipalities.
The study was supplied by North Data with a sample of officially published company data of over 140.000 digital firms in Germany, born between 1995 and 2017.
